WOW--Warners missing trophy

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The mystery of the missing trophy has been solved.
Amid objections, NFL security early today removed the trophy from the office of St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz, and said it would be immediately sent to quarterback Kurt Warner, currently with the Arizona Cardinals.
The trophy, which Warner won as MVP for the 1999 NFL season, had been sent to the Rams' offices in Earth City about two months after the Rams were victorious in Super Bowl XXXIV.
Rams sources say Martz accepted delivery of the trophy and indicated he would give it to Warner. However, the coach never did, and failed to inform Warner that he had it.
When news of Warner's missing trophy surfaced over the weekend, NFL Security received an anonymous tip that it was believed the trophy was in Martz's possession.
Martz was stunned when security personnel entered his office at just after 7 a.m. this morning. At first, Martz denied having the trophy, but a search of his office revealed its presence, on a shelf, nestled behind a photo of his dog, Buddy.
As security departed, Martz was heard to mutter, "It's rightfully mine. He never would have won it without me."
Warner was unavailable for comment.

Honestly, where I live in the Arboretum area of Austin, there are 3 Starbucks in a radius less than a mile. Well, 2 now and one under construction. Dad gum it Martz, quit that.

If the missing trophy appears on ebay, i will bid on it. Current market value of one of the 400 superbowl trophies made for the players/front office etc is about 5500, give or take (as low as 3000 and as high as 10k, depending on the market), so i wonder what this one is worth.
