WR's against Cowboys!! WOOOHOOO!
Saw a qoute from Haslett in an article by Coats.
Says the five WR's that will be active for the Cowboy's game are, drumroll please:
Holt
Avery
Burton
Stanley
Hall
C'mon, if that doesn't give you a warm and fuzzy feeling about the new coach, nothing will!

Re: WR's against Cowboys!! WOOOHOOO!
Only Holt is a proven WR and he gets special treatment from every team we play.
Avery and/or Burton need to step up and have a great game

What about that Bennette fool? If he doesnt get in here and start producing we need to terminate his contract. No news of anything from this guy is a total waste!!!

Re: WR's against Cowboys!! WOOOHOOO!
Considering that Burton was looking even more on top of things than Avery in the preseason, I'm really hoping he hasn't lost any of his progress with being injured. If anything, I would hope he had his eyes glued on video the whole time while he was rehabbing and will now come out just as good as he was doing before.
This could be a real good game for our youngsters!

Re: WR's against Cowboys!! WOOOHOOO!
what i want to see is Avery and Holt starting outside in 2 WR sets and then Avery moving into the slot for when we have 3WR, with Burton coming in to play on the outside

Re: WR's against Cowboys!! WOOOHOOO!
We need a big game from them but I hope Bulger can get them the ball our passing game is in the tank. I would like to see us push the ball down field more or getting the ball out in space so Avery can use his speed.

Re: WR's against Cowboys!! WOOOHOOO!
We need to start asking teams what it will take for them to take Bennett off our hands. I'm thinking if we throw in a couple of first day picks that they might take him... might being the key word.

I am really excited. According to a different post, Bulger was throwing the ball without difficulty. However, didn't mention if it was accurate or not. I am still behind Bulger and he will have another target to throw to.
If only we hadn't lost McMichael...but these two young receivers will be fun to watch! I hope I get the game.
