For me in order:
Mark Clayton
Danario Alexander
Danny Amendola
Donnie Avery
Austin Pettis
Greg Salas
Clayton and Avery on the outsides with Alexander and Pettis occasionally rotating in. Amendola mans the slot and occasionally switches with Salas.

Looks like so far, there's a runaway top 6. The sixth highest vote getter still claims 81.48% of the vote, with the next best at 16.67%. That's a huge gap.
Is DX a long term or even medium term answer ............... can't say due to that knee. Love the kid though.
I think Pettis and Salas bring several things that are lacking on this team. Though every one of the WRs is a try hard type of guy, we still saw to many drops, good coverage on them and way to many nine yard receptions on third and ten. Pettis and Salas are fresh, big, bright, physical, smooth, catch everything type guys. Combined with Kendricks and OH-OH, I think this upgrades Sam's target packages considerably.
It's on McD to put together a plan, a scheme, to make the most of these pieces.
I was initially ambivalent, however, after several Boston Lagers and a couple chasers, I am feeling very optimistic.
Oh, I think Robinson, Gibson and Gillyard are most likely gone. Rams even grabbed a potential KR late to help with that. It's unfortunate, Gill had a tough road to climb and this lock out has probably hurt him the most.
Clayton, Avery, and Amendola are locks.
The other 3 spots; some combo of Alexander, Gibson, Pettis, Salas, and Gilyard. Ultimately, I think injuries will weed these numbers on their own. I'm guessing of the 8 possibilities, at least 2 of them get injured in the preseason and make the picks easy.
Having said that, I'll go with Gilyard (too early to give up on him), Alexander (pray for healthy knees), and Salas.
I think Gilyard could very well fit on the practice squad.
Mike Sando has pointed out that McD prefers bigger WRs.
Pettis and Salas seem to be larger versions of Amendola. I can't imagine Amen not being here next season after his efforts in 2010...........but I see a duplication in roles here. Training camp will be interesting, if and when it ever gets started.
The Rams also picked up a DB with nice return capabilities also........just saying.
I can assume Gilyard will be in the practice squad and if anyone of them don't pan out or get injured in the season, Gilyard will be in. As for Robby and Gibby, I can assume they're either gone or at the bottom of the depth chart at best. If they leave, I wish the best of luck for them, I'm sure Shurmur will pick them up to the Browns knowing their familiarity with the WCO.
Why are some of u guys down on salas? I know I shouldn't believe everything todd mcshay says but I do, lol. But he says salas was a steal in the 5th round and he is a better prospect than pettis! Those were encouraging words
Interesting that Amendola is the highest vote getter. Though I voted for him, he was my "bubble" pick.
Pettis and Salas - they'd have to REALLY slip up in training camp to fail to make the team.
Clayton - if they sign him, and he's healthy, he makes the team.
Avery and Alexander - if they're healthy, they make the team.
Of the remaining players, Robinson has no shot. Gibson has little shot. That leaves Amendola and Gilyard fighting for the last spot.
I went with Amendola because I think he will remind McDaniels of Welker, but I wonder if Spags/Devaney might push to give Gilyard a shot.
I went with Amendola, Salas, Pettis, Clayton, Avery and DX. I am willing to bet someone will get injured though. If its Avery, his time will be up in St. Louis. I dont want to see us leave Gilyard so quickly but thats the business. Especially after his performance last year which was embarrassing.
Amendola might be good trade bait. I have a feeling we might only see Avery and Clayton come back and DX and Gilyard hanging by a thread. With our two rookies other than that we might bring in FA. When you go after 2 WR in a draft it doesn't bode well for bottom of the totem. The reason why Gilyard will possibly stay is because if he were really on the chopping block he would have been gone already.
Gibson / Robinson and Gilyard probably not gonna make top 6. but i hope the team can retain them somehow, gilyard still should be given one more chance to contribute, even if it is on a short short rope.
Im pretty sure its because i have St louis Ram beer goggles on but the more i look at the lineup, the more i think that whatever top 6 emerge out of this bunch will be quite strong across the board ...
but i do have beer goggles on. (it just seems nicer this way)
The situation may just be that Clayton isn't brought back. I do think Danny is at risk anyhow.
My best guess.
