    X-Ram Trivia-Where have they gone

Here is a couple for you. This just goes to show how bad our drafting has been. You can not look up these answers. See how many you know.

Where are they? And do they start?

    1) Robert Thomas
    2) Chris Johnson
    3) K. Garrett
    4) D. Lewis
    5) T. Polley
    6) A. Archuleta
    7) D. Groce
    8) E. Flowers
    9) A. Hargrove

And you wonder why our defense is so bad.

    1) Raiders--NO. He backs up some guy named Kirk Morrison
    2) At home on the couch
    3) At home on the couch
    4) Panthers--NO. Backs up Maake Kemoeatu
    5) Saints -- Hasn't even seen the field this season
    6) Skins--Backs up the old one, Vincent
    7) Saints-- Backs up McKenzie
    8) At home one the couch
    9) Bills--Backing up Schobel

Who am I missing?? These are ones that came off the top of my head. Pretty scary isn't it?

And the scary thing is when we finally get rid of some of the 06 rubbish, they will be in the same boat either not playing or playing very little.. Year after year we have wasted draft picks on these guys Lewis,Archuleta,Pickett,Polley and Kennedy..And what effort did we make to keep guys who really contributed,Wistrom,Fletcher B.Fisher...Not enough!!!:l

Re: X-Ram Trivia-Where have they gone

This should be fun. Without looking...

    1) Robert Thomas: Raiders, back-up MLB
    2) Chris Johnson: Last I saw he was on the Chiefs?
    3) K. Garrett: Dunno
    4) D. Lewis: Back-up for Carolina
    5) T. Polley: Back-up for the Saints
    6) A. Archuleta: Got benched in Washington
    7) D. Groce: Waaaay down on the Saints depth chart
    8) E. Flowers: No clue
    9) A. Hargrove: Back-up in Buffalo

Eh, not bad after looking at the answers...

    1) Raiders--NO. He backs up some guy named Kirk Morrison
If you don't know who Kirk Morrison is, look into him. Two year pro drafted in the third round in 2005 who has really played some really good football for the Raiders.

    How is Cory Ivy doing?

Furrey, Wistrom, and Fisher are doing just fine with their new teams.

So, it would seem that we went from a team with a key player who previously worked at a grocery store, to a team with key players who likely will be working at one soon.

Ivy is a back up with the Ravens.

Wistrom doesn't count as he was pre-Martz/Super Bowl.

And Fisher....even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Re: X-Ram Trivia-Where have they gone

    Here were my guesses:

X 1) Robert Thomas - Green Bay, no
    2) Chris Johnson - Not Playing
    3) K. Garrett - Not Playing
    4) D. Lewis - Carolina, no
    X 5) T. Polley - Baltimore, no
    6) A. Archuleta - Washington, no
    X 7) D. Groce - Detroit, no
    8) E. Flowers - Not Playing
    9) A. Hargrove - Buffalo, no

Well, I got 6 right. I would point out, however, that Damione Lewis has as many sacks on the season as all of our defensive tackles combined despite being a backup. Of course, that's not saying much since La'roi Glover is the only DT on our team to register a sack. I'm not saying that we should have kept Lewis, but he's not doing too shabby as a backup.

I'd also like to point out the positive here: it's true that we've had some poor draft choices, but it would be that much worse if we had let these guys go and they were all excelling elsewhere after busting here. Think how frustrated the Browns must be seeing all those defensive line guys they let walk playing admirably in Denver for the last couple years. In a way it's good to know that it was just poor scouting, rather than finding out that we had a player whose talent was going to waste due to coaching or scheme or what have you. And let's also be glad that the FO didn't shell out big money to keep these guys if they don't seem to have the tools to perform elsewhere either.

Of all those names, Tommy Polley sticks out the most. The dude had a great first year. I was excited about his playmaking. But, what the heck happened?

Are you being fair. Some key players were left off the list.

IE..... Ryan Pickett....... I am sure I can go on..... But if you want to be fair you should include time frame like all of last years then make your point.

I could easily make a list that is opposite of yours..

    Wistrom
    Fletcher
    Bly
    Furry

Re: X-Ram Trivia-Where have they gone

Actually you can not get any further than Pickett and Pisa. I already checked.

    And
    1) I am talking about defensive players
    2) I am talking Post Super Bowl.

you want to make a list based on those options, go right ahead. I bet it is pretty damn short *LOL*.

Re: X-Ram Trivia-Where have they gone

Corey Ivy is playing. He was given the power player title on the list I was looking at for week 12 against the Steelers. He only played for us for one year, but I thought he was a playmaker and I was sad to see him cut.

Four of the Steelers' first six drives ended in three-and-outs. The seventh concluded with a sack by Corey Ivy that resulted in a fumble that Baltimore's Adalius Thomas returned 57 yards for a touchdown. It gave the Ravens a 24-0 lead with 4:46 left in the third quarter.
