This Years O - Line
IMO, both Tackle positions are SOLID! What are we looking at for the interior line? I've heard rumors of Richie Incognito fighting for starting center position. I've also heard that Claude Terrell is fighting weight issues? What do you all see as our best O-Line scenario? Iwas personally hoping for ...........
Pace/Barron at Tackles
Terrell / Incognito at Guards
McColloum center.
Your thoughts?

Re: This Years O - Line
I really like the fact that Incognito is being worked mostly as a center. From what I have read, that was his natural position in college. With the possible exception of Larry Turner, we have no one backing up Andy M. now that free agent Mike D. opted to attend Med school. We have plenty of quantity at the guard position with Terrell, Saipaia, Timmerman, Setterstrom, and Palmer just to name a few. No doubt Stussie and Cogs will get reps at guard as well. As you mentioned we appear to be in good shape at both starting tackle positions, and Todd S. should be a major upgrade over last years backups at tackle.

Re: This Years O - Line
Again, all this is speculation. Will Terrell play just as well as last year? Has Barron learned from his dumb penalties from a year ago? Can Steussie play like he used to?
Until we actually see these questions perform on the field, no way can you use the term "solid" and "Rams O line" together. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I'll remain the skeptic behind the curtain.

[?
Even if he plays a little better than half as well, it should be better that Ryan Tucker or SaipaiaCan Steussie play like he used to?

Re: This Years O - Line
i think we need to pick up one more OT after the june cuts as i dont think one battle worn 35 year old is insurance enough for such a crucial position!

Re: This Years O - Line
Tx, Barron played great last year and he will just get better. He had one bad gane with the false starting and catching a ball. But he was in late and once he got in he help the o-line big time. Book ends baby.Has Barron learned from his dumb penalties from a year ago?
