You can choose
If you could choose ANY current NFL player to place on the current Rams roster who would it be and why? :smoke:
me...
I would have to say Ed Reed S (Balt). This kid has it all and young too. This by far is our weakest postion and he would be the franchise. SIGN HIM UP!

Re: You can choose
That's a tough one. Hard to argue with Ed Reed.
Others I'd consider are Shaun Rogers, Marcus Stroud, Julius Peppers, and Chris McAllister.

Re: You can choose
Reed and Peppers would be at the top of my list.
Andre Johnson on offense.

Re: You can choose
Ed Reed or Chris McAllister since that is our biggest need.
But one player did pop briefly in my mind when I first read this post.
Payton Manning.
Don't get me wrong, IMO Bulger is one of the best and one of my favorite Ram QB's;
But can you imagine how awsome our offense would be if he were the signal caller?JUST WIN ONE FOR THE FANS

Re: You can choose
Hmmm...
Ray Lewis. Defensive dominance.

Re: You can choose
I think the clear choice is Ed Reed. The guy's only 26 and is the most dominant defensive player in the league right now.
Offensively, I'd take either a top young guard like Hutchinson or Steinbech, or a pass-catching tight end like Gates or Heap.

Re: You can choose
Try to narrow it down to one. It is much harder.
Why Andre Johnson Avenger? Thats an interesting pick.
It is amazing no one is saying a right tackle. Do we feel that good about Barron?

Re: You can choose
Not really. My answer would be Reed, hands down. Most dominant defensive player in the league, and our biggest need position.

Re: You can choose
I think Andre Johnson is the most physically gifted player in the NFL. He's as big as Terrell Owens, and as fast as (if not faster than) Randy Moss. You put him in a Martz offense (opposite Holt and with Bruce in the slot), and he'd be nearly unstoppable.

Re: You can choose
Hard to argue with Reed, the most dominant safety in the game today. However, for sake of arguing, I'm going to say Shane Lechler. We all know how field position can make or break a game, and a big boot like Lechler sure would be nice on 4th and forever.

It isn't that great a loss.
