You Guys Will Love Leonard This Week

For all the people here who complained when the Rams drafted him, you will be happy on Sunday. Brian Leonard is so underrated it's not even funny. I watched this guy for four years at Rutgers and it really is impossible not to love having him on your team. Just one of those guys who is a true winner. He was the center of the turnaround of the worst football program in the nation to a great program during his four years at Rutgers. Yes, he is THAT good.

I've gotten to watch every snap he's played in with the Rams as well. He's doing very well in all his assignments. But he's still learning the NFL game. I bet he is going to run for 100 + yards on Sunday, around 40 yards receiving and he'll score a TD.

Steven Jackson is a hell of a football player, one of the best in the league. I understand that I have no right to say that BL is better than Jackson. Jackson is a proven stud. My prediction, though, is that there will be a few Rams fans who claim that BL is better than Jackson after this Sunday because Leonard is going to BEEEEEEEEEST.

I cant wait to see him out there. He seems to of done good on all the plays hes been in been involved with. Maybe we'll see the "Leonard Leap" and some major yardage.

I like what I have seen, he has not had many touches, but he is avg, 5.3 yards per run. Not saying he will do close to that with 25 touches, but one can hope.

This was a shocker, well maybe not, he has 6 cathes as many as McMichael and two more then Bennett. From what little we have seen he has not mad a bad play ea. dropped pass, fumble, negitive yardage and that is saying something in this offense LOL.

FYI, I am one among several here that were just elated with the drafting of Leonard. We have high expectations for him (higher than his leap) and believe he is, most definitely, a positive acquisition for the Rams ofense now and for the future.

It is a wise observation on your part to note BL is still learning the NFL, thus the quote I inserted below from LARAM0. Nevertheless, I sure hope Leonard has a tremendous game this Sunday and, far more importantly, that he helps us WIN it!

Agree totally! i hope to see a really good BL and wish him well in his 1st start but that Cowboys D will be the best run D we've faced so far. The playcallers need to get creative and take risks. Stop wasting plays particularly on 1st and 2nd down then putting us on 3rd and long. It hasnt worked against anybody and that potentially has been our downfall especially in the redzone.
