I'm sure they could make a lot of money by selling the seats as memorbillia. I'd pay 20 bucks for one!

Though I doubt I'm alone on this, I will speak only for myself....................I can't stand the red seats. They make the ED feel like an away game.

Just started a Facebook group titled "Rams Need Blue Seats at the EJD." Join today!

If you are a member of any other Rams boards (The Herd, RealRamsFans, PD RamsTalk), I'd appreciate it if you'd post something here inviting people to join the group.

Blue seats would be better. Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy looks really cool with the blue seats. The new Kiel arena (the true name imo) had purple seats at one point and they were changed out. I wouldn't expect a change though until Kroenke is given a sweetheart deal to buy the dome from the city when the debt is paid off.

The city doesn't have any incentive to make a change like that at this point and Stan isn't going to put money into a stadium he doesn't own.

The red must have been a sub-conscious move by the owners in hoping the Cardinals would want to play in their stadium.

I inquired about the turf - a contractor for the Dome hauled it away. They wouldn't share anymore information than that at the time.

They need to go. Kroenke can afford it. A red hue every game is simply rediculous. I like HUbs idea of selling off the red seats, I know I'd pay more than $9 for one, or maybe even two. Not to get off topic, but did they sell of the old GSOT turf? If they didn't, they missed a huge opportunity. I would love to have a piece of that stuff.

Back on topic, Dez, you should contact Kroenke's office and propose HUb's idea.

We get reminded that the seats are red everytime we come to clanram because of the background anyone with some photoshop skills that can fix that?

That stuff was hallowed ground. Where legends were made, pure magic happened and a championship was forged. Talk about a lost opportunity for the city as well as the fans. I'll bet selling off that GSOT surface in some "collectible" form would have paid for new seats, and then some.
