Your gut feeling about O.J. Atogwe

I think the Rams either increase his salary by 110% or sign him to a long term deal, what do you think?

Possibly. I have a funny feeling that it wont happen and he will end up being somewhere else next year. Im sure they could have worked out something by now, but theres a possibility he can still come back.

Ultimately, I see the FO make a choice that I dont really like or understand but when it comes down, they know more than I do.

True. I think a reason why a contract hasn't been agreed on between the Rams and O.J. is because he can't pass a physical. The Rams are playing that card, which is fine, but we'll know within a few minutes what decision the Rams have made.

It's now 12:00 AM EDT. So, what did the Rams do?

Jason LaCanfora confirmed that Atogwe is now a UFA.

Apparently, what the Rams seem to always do.

Nothing. Reports I'm reading are nothing has happened.

Well I would imagine they have a little time to work with if he can't pass a physical (for us or any other team) right now.

True, but if teams like the Dolphins and Cowboys pony up and throw more money out to O.J., his days as a Ram are gone. If no team throws any money at him, he might just come back.

I suspect he'll pass a physical administered by any other team in the league, so I wouldn't bank on that.

Why do you suspect O.J. could pass a physical administered by any team other than the Rams? What exactly are you implying here?

That physicals are not the impartial arbiters of player health that some seem to think they are.
