    2. The starting left tackle? Barron or Smith?

    3. Our 2nd starting receiver?

    4. Our slot receiver?

    5. Our number 2 running back?

    6. Our starting right guard? Incognito, Greco or maybe Scheuning?

    Mine:

    1. Tye Hill
    2. Alex Barron
    3. Keenan Burton
    4. Laurent Robinson
    5. Kenneth Darby
    6. Greco

Re: In Your Opinion, Who Will Be

    for me

    1.Bradley Fletcher
    2.Jason Smith
    3.Laurent Robinson
    4.Keenan Burton
    5.Chris Ogbonnaya
    6. John Greco

Bradley i thinks got some good size. but its just a predicition im not set on this guy, Hill could very well steal the spot from Fletcher.

Jason Smith i think will Be better than Penalty Prone bonehead Barron, and will eventually be the one on the LT spot.

Laurent Robinson is pretty tall, and from what i have seen, hes pretty decent, on possession.

keenan, is good, and him being a decent size reciever will be a threat, also being very fast for his size. i think they should make him Return Punts. If you have watched keenans highlights you would know his pretty damn shifty and perfect for the slot.

Obgonnaya, runs, and runs hard, i think Darby is good. but he got knocked down by the Referee, and it looked like a love tap. In conclusion,we will truly see with our New O-line, but the position is still very much up for grabs; i guess Obgo.

John Greco, is a great team Player, he has a cool head, and seems Phenominal at passblocking. Also Run Blocking is probrably Incognitos strong point, but every O-lineman loves to Run block.

    and those are my selections.

oh by the way? what is the Rep Power on this Forum?

    5) Darby

Tye Hill is going to be given every opportunity to win the job.
Smith is the superior run blocker for Jackson
Robinson has the most experience so I think he'll lock down the job.
Darby showed far more than Pittman last year - should be Brian Leonard here.
Incognito's tough attitude will win over the coaches.

    1. Hill. Is only a starter though, when healthy enough to jump high enough to overcome his height disadvantage. King will be right on his heels tho, and if Tye shows he can't jump high enough (whether due to injury or getting turned around on the ball) the position becomes a battle between King and Wade.
    2. Barron (he'll stay there this year while Smith gets acquainted with the speed of the game) next year, its Smith's
    3. Robinson. unless Rams get a vet wr in FA, well, Robinson IS the vet. he'll take 2nd chair until week 3 when he gets injured with a 4-6 weeks recovery time. he returns after the bye, but never really returns to producing the "oohs" and "ahhhs" from his stellar preseason performances.
    4. Burton.
    5. ah. a potential trick question. The number 2 running back will be Darby, as his quick slash and dash will be the change up to SJax' style. But, SJax true backup will be Ogbo... if SJax goes down, he'll be the one that pounds the ball, and Darby will remain as the change up and 3rd down back.
    6. Cogs makes the grade after getting "the talk" from coach. he ends up getting his mental game up to a satisfactory level; barely. Greco's potential gets stymied once again, but sees the field in relief and shows he's a reliable guy... he also gets some work in practice at Center just in case Brown goes down. Setterstrom watches from further down the depth chart and only sees the field on pk's and field goals.

Well since most are going to be the same answers i'm going to be different!

    1. Jonathan Wade (lol we have the same last name)
Wade has great speed (Al Davis will offer a 2009 1st for him). But that 2nd CB spot is wide open competition in pre-season. I think Wade can do better than hill and king in pre season but he wont finish the season at starter.
    2. Alex Barron
We are working Smith out at RT so this one is obvious.
    3. Laurent Robinson (or Amani Toomor if we sign him)
Robinson is listed at 6-2 while Burton is listed at 6-0 (stlouisrams.com) and i think having a taller receiver opposite Avery would benefit him.
    4. Derek Stanley
Stanley will beat out Burton IMO. can make more plays than Burton. However Burton will be the slot guy come mid-season
    5. Antonio Pittman
Darby has a problem of fumbling and getting hit by a ref to the #2 guy. We will use the faster more elusive back in Pittman over Darby.
    6. Cogs (we will be big and fat in the middle just replace Bell)
    We need meat!!!!!!!!!

    1. The starting corner opposite of Bartell? Tye Hill Wouldn't mind seeing Fletcher surprise me.

    2. The starting left tackle? Jason Smith

    3. Our 2nd starting receiver? Keenan Burton

    4. Our slot receiver? Laurent Robinson

    5. Our number 2 running back? Antonio Pitman

    6. Our starting right guard? Incognito A mature, mean, massive G machine! And effective!

Actually, Darby really did not have much of a problem with fumbling after his first game. He also is, IMO, the more faster, elusive back than Pittman. I also think that him getting hit by the ref one time is not a deciding factor in whos going to be the number 2 back.

Pittman was given the job last year when Jackson was banged up and couldn't keep it because Darby did so well. With a full camp, I can't imagine how Darby can't completely overtake him.

Re: In Your Opinion, Who Will Be

    1. prob Hill early on but,imo & hope, he could lose out to King. If King's toe has healed & he added some weight, he has speed and is taller than Hill or Wade. And wasn't he also touted as a possible kick returner out of college?

Btw, anyone see that sports science show where they raced CB Trufant in his backpeddle for , I think , 20 yds vs a man running forwards and a Corvette. He beat both handily.

    2. If Barron can't win the LT spot with his talent and vet experience...not good...not good at all.

    3. & 4. Wide open but Burton and Robinson are as good a guess as any, imo.

Just like at CB, I really hope to see signs that Billy D had already seeded the team pre-Spags with results from these guys he handpicked. Wasn't he a personnel guru for The Falcons when LR was drafted?

    5. I really thought Leonard had the inside track here so what do I know? I don't think Pittman has either the size or hands to beat out Darby & if Ogbonnaya shows promise on STs,AP may not make it at all.

    6. Haslett's comment that Pillsbury Badboy Cogs was too topheavy to be effective caught my eye. You can lose your head sometimes and lose your feet sometimes but if you do both a lot...I hope another Devaney disciple gets a serious shot; either Greco or Schuening.

Re: In Your Opinion, Who Will Be

    1. Tye Hill. Wade hasn't looked like someone we'd be comfortable starting. King is basically a redshirt rookie, and although Fletcher looks like an interesting prospect, I wouldn't expect him to immediately get thrown into the fire.

    2. Alex Barron. Although Smith might be the starter there in the long-term, right now it's probably the best way to maximize the abilities of both players.

    3. Laurent Robinson. He probably has more NFL experience than any of the other receivers on the roster

    4. Keenan Burton.

    5. Kenneth Darby. I'd put him and Pittman about even as runners, but Darby can actually pick up the blitz, which makes him a lot more useful in two back formations.

    6. Ritchie Incognito. Just a hunch, and I don't know if Bell can be assumed to be a starter either.

As of week one, this is how I figure it'll be:

    1. Tye Hill. He's got the most experience. He'll beat out the rookie and I haven't seen anything from Wade or King yet, so I stick with the vet.
    2. Barron. Finally gets to prove himself.
    3. Robinson. Again, going with the "vet". He started off well in Atlanta, and he has prototypical measureables. Figure that in an open battle he'll beat out...
    4. Keenan Burton, who has Wes Welker clone written all over him from what I've seen of him. I think he can rip up from the slot.
    5. Does it really matter? Darby, sure.
    6. Cogs. For week one, I'm comfortable with this pick. For end of season, no way. Anything could happen, and I certainly hope Greco comes along and pushes Cogs into being better or steals his spot.
