David "Deacon" Jones, of course. Bubba Smith and Reggie White were no lightweights, but the Deacon was the original Secretary of Defense.

I'm not old enough to have seen Jones play, but I think that Lawarence Taylor was the best pass rusher that I've ever seen- especially when he was dabbling in the nose candy before the game.

I have to agree with Moloch here. I love Deacon but L.T. was rediculous. Taylor is definately the best pass rusher I have ever seen as well. Maybe even one of the best defensive players ever.
