If the helmet horns and jersey numbers are white then no, as it will match.

Would still prefer royal blue and collegiate(yellow) gold though, blue and white looks ok but there's no 'pop' about it.

As for the new primary jerseys, I don't mind the cut, the shoulder panels match where the shoulder pads will sit so I can understand that providing better freedom of movement for players. The stomach area mesh panel looks ok, but I wonder if that will go darker than the rest of the jersey when the players sweat, as that looks odd on NCAA jerseys.

The shoulder stripe looks better done on the Nikes, it annoyed me that with Reebok there was no consistency, it looked different on every player which is hardly 'uniformed', the way Nike have done it can be replicated on every jersey, even fan jerseys, because the stripe was massively different depending whether you had a replica/premier/authentic when they should all look the same.

The collar will take some getting used to, I don't see why it had to be two toned, the Flywire stuff is on the Texans jersey collar and they retained the red v neck, albeit made much wider. Still, the old gold collars was often a different gold to the numbers on Rams jerseys and I'm a stickler for consistency.

I don't mind the white pants, but I don't like the top. The sleeves are boring with just that little arc of gold lined with white. Then the collar is gold without the white lining, which looks inconsistent. The gold also looks duller than usual--especially on those shoes, which really look brown. If you're going to use that old gold, you need to make sure it still looks like a gold, not a pair of faded khakis.

My main complaint is that it just doesn't look like anyone put any effort into it. I don't want a complete overhaul, but it lacks personality. For a team that historically pioneered the logo on the helmet, used sharp contrasts in the days of black and white, and vivid hues after that...this looks like a straight cookie cutter outfit with no style of its own.

I have not noticed anyone mention the helmets yet. Has nobody noticed the change to the horns?

I really don't mind, as long as the horns stay on the helmet. That is a Rams legacy that cannot be changed.

Can you catch the ball if you're holding your hands so the logo is right?

I just really liked the old blue and yellow. I wasn't even a fan of the team then, but I sure did like those uniforms.

The white pants aren't too bad, but wow the dark blue is just WAY too conservative.

Besides, the Rams are more charged when they wear blue and yellow!

Until we win consistantly we should wear no pants.

Dunno what all the fuss is about myself.

These new uniforms look rather like the old ones.....fancy gloves though I guess.

Blue and yellow for me, an iconic look.

And I thought they were trying to fill seats buy improving the game experience!?! I really do wonder if the marketing team have clue about anything other than their monthly wage receipt.

Marketing Guys - "Hey guys, lets choose a uni colour...mmm....I know white!! Awesome!!!"

Oh my god...

I have just watched the video of the unveiling (uniforms) in New York with Cortland Finnegan. A couple of things I noted.

1. Wow! I didn't know he was that small (Finnegan)

2. The Rams helmet looks ridiculous. The horns are slightly thinner, and don't ride as high as they did on the old one. They are more 'splayed', widening more quickly on the front from each other, and increasing the distance between the horns at the top of the helmet (more blue between them)

3. Cortland looks about 13 years old with his on, because the helmet looks too big for his head (which it isn't its just the design making it look that way. Seriously take a look. I hope the other players don't look so doofus like with theirs on.

(Larry Fitzgerald had to wear a specially adapted helmet, because his hair was too big! It looked well weird)

Good spot from Dez though, the helmets are also a big barrel of male chicken.
