Throwback uniforms are a “go” for St. Louis Rams in ‘09

What about those ugly NY Titans jerseys that the Jets wear.....why? One team that I would love to see wear the throwbacks is Cincinnati, for some reason loved the Bengals spelled out on the helmet. Also, don't get mad at me, but as a kid I did like the old school Patriot on the helmet.

Keenum, if u decide to go, let me know and we can represent the Lou in TN lol...and Ramsfan16 text me and we can arrange to go together to it

Ha! You got it amigo. :) That was a nice, classic helmet with the Patriot center on it.

Something about us baby boomers, the era. The sports era. I used to really like the maroon helmet color and the neat indian spear of the Redskins of back then (Sonny Jurgensen). ...Something about those years.

I think the throwback ('73-'99) Rams uniform is the best looking uniform ever. I was disappointed when they changed to the current uniform in 2000. Look at teams like the Jets, Raiders, Chiefs, Steelers, Browns. They have been wearing the same uniforms forever. Why change a cool uniform, that's the way I see it. I hope I can get throwbacks of current players, and I really would love it if I could personalize a throwback.

My biggest complaint about the new uniforms is that we took away the classic and easily identifiable yellow that the Rams were known for and added old gold, which is the BASIS of the uniforms and mascot of the Rams' fiercest rival, the Whiners. What in the hell were they thinking?
