Re: 2011 free agents, start dreaming!!!
I'm sure a lot of those guys will be brought back... anybody see Peyton Manning going somewhere else? lol.
I haven't looked up anything yet, so am probably basing most of my thoughts on past performanace, reputation, or a total guess.
For WR I think we will bring back Clayton and give him another shot. I'm interested in Stallworth and Houshmanzadeh, but not sure how much they will be demanding. If you've ready any of my posts relating to the draft or what we need for next year, you already know I'm totally sold on getting Julio Jones one way or another... or swinging some crazy trade for Larry Fitzgerald.
I'm been saying for a while we must upgrade the interior of the O-line. Guard is the first position that comes to mind with that statement. I think Goldberg comes back again... and we saw how much we missed him this year in the running game. I thought Tony Ugoh was a tackle, but he may have switched to guard. He was suppose to be a stud, but never lived up to the hype and could be brought in for a fair price. Would be a bit of a gamble though.
Not sure if we could upgrade the backup QB spot with any of these guys (at least ones who should become free agents... I doubt we will bring in Manning or Vick as a backup, haha!), and Feeley still has his contract. Plus, I liked what I saw from Lewis in the preseason and would love to see him furthur develop.
I would have to do a lot more looking about the OLB spot, another position that most say we need an upgrade in.
Very interested in everybody elses thoughts.
Re: 2011 free agents, start dreaming!!!
Just to point out a couple people that i think you missed.Sidney Rice,Chad Greenway,Nnamdi (cant spell last name lol)those are all big players and personally i would ideally want all 3 but thats unrealistic. So ill take anyone because im sure we wont get 2 of them so who ever we get works.Personally ill take Nnamdi, then draft 1 of the big 3 WR whoever is left with 14th pick. That + getting Avery and Clayton back next year ill be satisfied with that WR corp. And then maybe look somewhere else for an OLB either draft of FA.
Re: 2011 free agents, start dreaming!!!
I see my all time favorite Ram Torry Holt in there!
Re: 2011 free agents, start dreaming!!!
i see champ bailey that would be a sweet pick up and i see peyton manning and sadly with the head coach / mannequin they have in indy i would take more money and leave if i was him the head coach will hold him back from here till he is 86'd
Re: 2011 free agents, start dreaming!!!
Oo did Jamarcus Russell get cut from the Alabama State Penitentiary? What a bust...
