You mean like Andre Dyson and Jamie Sharper - two big FA signings from last year - both of whom were cut this year?

Re: Abraham heading to the Hawks???

I'm actually a bit more with RF16 on this.

The Seahawks rotate their D'line quite a bit, as we did when we had a good D, and they are trying to add Abraham to keep that rotation fresh at DE as well.

These are the types of things that teams with talent do. They are fine tuning an already good D. Their FO has made some great moves, signing Jones, Hasslebeck, and Alexander. Stealing Wistrom and Fischer from their #1 division nemises. Drafting Marcus Trufant, and Hamlin. Now, likely keeping Hutch and the other DT from departing in FA. And they just signed another DT from Arizona. OK, why weren't we trying to sign this guy (Davis?) since we knew we might lose Pickett?

I actually can't think of 1 FA the Rams have acquired in the last 2 years that actually worked out and is still on the team. Anybody?

It's one thing to state that the Hawks have a better record in Free agency than we do over the last couple of years. It's something else entirely to state that we will suck and get shut down because the Hawks might sign a good defensive end.

They were able to re-tool primarily because up until this season, they haven't had to carry the kind of contracts we have and were able to offer silly money to people like Wistrom.

Lets see how they do from now on and then we'll be able to make a much better comparison.

As for the draft, I only hope the days are gone when our first round pick is greeted with cries of "Who?" and "Reach!".

We've done quite well thus far, although I'll be surprised if Brown ends up being worth the money.

What's done is done, this is a whole new season.

Fat Pang is right. We all know that we haven't done well in Free Agency in the last few years, but there's no point in complaining about it now. You can't change it.

This is the most we have done in Free Agency in a long time, the previous years are over now. Instead of saying we suck or the Hawks will shut us down because of one player, let it go. Worry about the Rams THIS SEASON not about the mistakes we made 2 years ago.
