Careful what you wish for, you just might be going a little too far with this one. Let's just hope patsies and baldy are out!

Thats the last thing we need to hear the whole year long, the Superbowl defending champions "SEAHAWKS" SPIT!

Well I'm not wishing for the Hawks to make it to the SuperBowl, but I honestly don't think I can root for the Pats period, even against the Hawks.

I get what you are saying though. It's a tough call if it turns out to be the Hawks and Pats. I don't even want to think about that right now.

I agree, I hope Washington takes out the Hawks this week, and then the Pats lose next week. Here is to hoping. :l

Green Bay Packers and the Bolts, being from Cali, like to see them do well. As I hate all other teams, but some more then others. Pats,Colts,Hags can't wait to see them play their last game!

Well everyone I hate to say it but, the reality is the NFL for some reason loves the Cheatriots and they're home and I can't see them losing. The simple fact is no matter who they play if the game is close the refs will make sure the Cheatriots will win. As much as we all hate them, it just doesn't matter, the NFL loves them and that's all that matters.

Re: Adopt a Team for the Playoffs

Well, now that I'm in Redskins country, I'll root for them as the underdogs.

I'd also be happy to see Brett go out in style a la Elway in '98-'99. In the AFC, it's anyone but the Patriots. I still like Peyton Manning, even if it does get annoying seeing him in every other commercial on game day. The Jaguars and Chargers both have a lot of talent, but I don't think Norv Turner is going to take the Chargers too deep into the playoffs. It'd still be nice to see either of them in the Super Bowl just to change things up. It's too bad Cleveland didn't make it into the playoffs. Those fans deserve some success.

Love the Hate for the Hawks...as you can probably guess, I voted for the Hawks. Course, I'm not really adopting them, cause they are already my team.

This is not a surprise at all rawk.....so how are the Seahawk fans feeling about the game? How do they think they match up with the skins? How far do you think the Seahawks will go in the playoffs?

    Chargers.

Since they're a "local" team for me. In fact, I've "officially" adopted them as my AFC team, and as frustrated as I am with the Rams, who knows, they may end up being my #1 NFL team. Besides, any team that gets to beat the crude outta the Raiders twice a year is a team for me.

    Go Bolts.

Don't do it, man...call a support group first.

Seriously, as long as both the Seahawks and the Chargers lose, preferably in the first round, I will be happy.

    Go Rams! :r

    1. Green Bay. I like the idea of Favre going out in style like Elway, class act and the best QB to ever play the game (I think that's fair to say now with all the records he's taken).

    2. San Diego. Because of LT, Gates etc. they have a lot of players I like.

    3. Anyone playing the Patriots or Seahawks who I hate with a passion. Especially the ****ing Patriots!

Re: Adopt a Team for the Playoffs

I voted for the Redskins. With Saunders running the offense and an unlikely veteran QB coming off the bench and the team rallying around and playing good football...well, how could I not?

Packers and Cowboys are the teams from the NFC that I think will have a shot vs. the AFC. New England won't make it to the Super Bowl. Bank on it. Indy beats them for sure and a couple of other teams will really test them when the weather gets bad. Homefield may not be what the Patriots really wanted. They're not built for cold weather. Their so-called running game isn't what the numbers show. They don't line up and run the ball when the defense knows it's coming, it's all draws and matchups vs. passing situations. In the playoffs, they won't get to face Feeley, Boller and Eli in close games.

Cowboys. I honestly feel that they have the best chance to beat the Patriots.

Re: Adopt a Team for the Playoffs

i rush voted and went for Chargers but really want the jags to win!

    why??

well like before last season...Saints were a big possibility to move to L.A. they had a succesful (for them) season and brought the people of New Orleans together in troubled times ,so really the Pack are just as likely now to move to L.A...at the start of this year it became quite well known that the jags are in financial difficulty, the city not really behind the team and they became favourites for the L.A switch...a SB win will re-ignite the passion for the jags in Jacksonville(if it hasnt been already) and will scrub them off the board...leaving us one step closer to going home baby!:l

plus i love their D and they haven`t been in the NFL long enough to have screwed us over yet,so no reason to hate on them....i like the Titans, but well... i dont want to lose the fact that they see Mike Jones in their nitemares!
