Al Davis died this morning.Age 82. A true pioneer of this sport, he will be missed by Raider Nation, I know that?

It's a love-hate relationship for Raider fans but even then, he merged the AFL and NFL, had the first African-American head coach, put a comedy show for us during the recent years.

Indeed, a true icon and champion character among NFL all-time owners. His legacy and persona in pro football will live on forever. Sincere sympathies to his loved ones for this great loss.

Who? Kidding of course. Davis was a pioneer in the great sport of professional football. After all he brought us the great John Madden and several others.
