Dilfer is better then Smith anyway. I don't understand why everyone thinks smith is so good. He's not a superbowl QB and not on a superbowl team... no worries about the whiners... unless Dilfer steps in he CAN win a superbowl.

Don't sleep on Dilfer, he could have a Jeff Garcia style uprising and perform better than Alex Smith, and as itsguud pointed out, he has won a SUPEBOWL.

I'm certainly not sold on Smith being a threat either. His first year was an absolute disaster and although he improved in his second year, he was still eratic, inconsistent and mistake prone. We'll see what happens this year, but Smith still has a lot to prove.
