Allright you football fanatics answer me this
Obviously the Owner of a team has last say on any and all organizational decisions. How does the rest of the pecking order fall into place?
1. Owner
2.
3.
4.
etc..

Re: Allright you football fanatics answer me this
i guess owner being at the top of the tree is because he/she pays the salaries..but i do think that some owners go along with trusted GM`s and sort of give them a blank chequebook to work with..
but youve filled out number 1 as owner so i`ll go
1.Owner
2.G.M
3.Head Coach
4.head of Player Personel
im not sure where things like Vice presidents and presidents go in the pecking order..as if anything is my fortay its not F.O. office matters but my evaluation of players..especially O-linemen.

Well, it is different in every organization, but in general it goes like this:
1. Owner
2. President
3. VP of Player Personnel, Football Operations, etc.
4. G.M.
5. Head Coach
Now, usually, teams don't have all of these positions, and 3 and 4 are pretty interchangible and are the most likely to NOT be in the same organization. Sometimes the HC is the VP of player personnel, like Shanahan was for the Broncos, and I think that tends to be the title of choice when the coach is also the personnel head.
