GEORGETOWN, Ky. - Stacy Andrews, the Bengals’ massive backup rookie right tackle, has waited until he is 23 years old to attend an honest-to-goodness football training camp. Paul Alexander has been coaching in them that long, and still Andrews is good enough to make him breath, “Wow,” to himself three or four times a day when he sees him on film.
“You know you’re good when that happens,” said Alexander, the Bengals offensive line coach who is spending this month shining one of the NFL Draft’s diamonds in the rough. …More…

SLANTS AND SCREENS: Bengals business manager Bill Connelly is literally in the eye of the storm. With two hurricanes converging on the Tampa area, and one of them slated to hit when the Bengals are scheduled to be in the air Friday afternoon, Connelly has to make some changes to get his team there for Saturday night’s game against the Bucs. They may have to leave late Thursday night, late Friday night, or early Saturday morning, depending on logistics . . .
