any june 1st cuts???

I'm suprised there hasn't been any news on a june cuts, I mean I know there was the cap increase and that has dropped down free agency but still there's nothing I've found anywhere

I'm pretty sure teams could cut players earlier in the year and designate them as June 1st cuts, so there likely were not a lot of players being held on to until this month for that reason.

Wow really? when did that start? is it a new thing this year

It came about when they renegotiated the collective bargaining agreement last year.
