Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
man do the Cardinals look bad. They can't protect the QB, can't run the ball, can't get pressure, they have a mediocre qb and their special teams looks terrible.
If ever there was a game we should win, on the road, it's this one.

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
I really don't see how we're going to lose this game, this is a huge must. I'll be more embarrassed if we lose this than the Lions game. The Cardinals now look like the doormat of the NFC West while they'll be searching for their franchise QB in the draft and start going into rebuilding mode.

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
Arizona is really bad...at QB and O line.
They had to know they were sinking their season when they got Anderson as their starting Qb.
I'm just glad they dumped Lienart, he'd be a heck of alot better than what they got now.

Oh and **** Jon Gruden saying that if a West team shouldn't make the playoffs. No one said the Chargers should of forfeited their playoff spot when they were 8-8.
It's funny hearing them blast the NFC West when their golden boy Peyton Manning's team is 6-5 and leading the South.

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
Don't count your eggs before they are hatched. How did we get blown out by 2 win Detroit? The Rams can't go into the game thinking "This is a win" or it will be anything but. They may not be as good as years past, but they aren't as bad as we were last year. They still have playmakers that can burn us.
This comes up in every sport when one division is particularly bad. It came up in 2006 when the 82 win St. Louis Cardinals (baseball) won their division despite the fact several teams from other divisions had more wins and didn't make the playoffs because of the division system (The NL Central was referred to that year as the Comedy Central for being so bad). 2006 WS winner? St. Louis Cardinals.
Not saying we will win the Superbowl, I think that is far from a possibility. Just pointing out that same argument is made in other sports, but only when one division is bad. The division system works just fine if you ask me, and creates more excitement. Some people claim it rewards teams for being in a bad division, but that is hardly their fault, and as the 2006 Cardinals proved, regular season record doesn't matter in the playoffs.

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
Following is kinda over NFL gamecenter while I watch other things. All of our division games are critical. If we sweep these last three, we should take the West's crown. Even more than that, we need to make up for our loss to Zona in the opener. We've gotten much better, and they've gotten worse. Where the opener could have gone to either team, this one is very much favoring us, and we need to win it in the desert.
I believe!

There is NO REASON why the O-line shouldn't be able to open up holes in this one. The niners are just mauling the Cards D-line!

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
I don't understand why people still think that Anderson can play QB in the NFL. He is just horrible. This is the second game in the past 4 years that I feel the Rams really should win and would be terrible if they lost. As long as there aren't a bunch of turnovers by the Rams there would be no reason the game shouldn't be a blowout. Bradford now compared to week 1 Bradford aren't even close to being the same QB.

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
Actually, what Gruden said was that he didn't believe a sub-.500 team should be in the playoffs, even if they won their division. He made a point of saying that if Bradford could get the Rams to 8-8, he had no problem with the Rams going into the playoffs.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
Steve Young after the game said that he thought the Rams were the only team from the division that deserved to be in the playoffs. Him and Matt Millen praised Bradford and Shurmer for doing a good job with the young offense with a young QB and late round draft pick talent at receiver.

Re: Anyone else watching Arz vs Sf?
AZ sucks sooo bad. It kills me we lost to them at home this year. To me, that loss hurt the most. Bradford has progressed mightily and we should win by a wide margin this time around.
