After seeing this, I'm glad Arch is elsewhere. He got his payday, and we aren't $30.18 million poorer.
That's a win-win in my book.
The good news is that this is so far beyond the range of what any ram fan would have paid at least we dont have to worry that we lost by a few bucks at the end. Most money ever paid to a safety and the guy cant cover and has a significant back problem.

I'm not at all surprised that Arch was overpaid, particularly by Snyder. The Rams made the right choice.

Arch's tank was almost empty we saw it and got rid of him. He had alot of missed tackles last year and his injury. Sorry it was getting old, he just wasn't our playmaker.
He did well for us best to him.
personally, i like archuleta...he was a leader on the field...
having said that, his open field tackling, or the lacking semblence of, won't be missed any time soon...

Met him at training camp 2 years ago, super nice guy. Very willing to sign autos and take pictures with my "now-depressed because he's gone" daughter. I'll never forget his hit on Todd Heap, or his takeaway from Michael Pittman, but he was becoming more of a liability than a solid defender.... that being said, good luck Arch, but I feel that we've already improved with our big 3 signings.
He obviously will have a string of good to very good years under Gregg Williams and the skin's system.
everything the rams have been doing so far are excellent, and I'm happy we got rid of him.
I'll miss him. I liked his passion for the game and his attitude, but there is no way that I would pay that kind of money for him.
