Im taking a stance and saying that imma miss archuleta, he was my favorite defensive player. He was born where i live, he went to the same Jr. highas me, and the same high school that Im currently going to. He was also a great defensive player on the feild. The Skins are lucky to have him...

I like Archuleta; I just don't think he's worth a record-breaking contract in a capped system. They're paying him about half a million less a year (on average) than we are Witherspoon--and some considered that high. I think this worked out well enough for both parties. He got a monster contract, and we got an adequate replacement. Best of luck to ya, Arch!

Early on, Archuleta was tagged to be the next 'John Lynch' for his physical toughness and approach to the safety -- or quasi LB -- position. That did not happen with the Rams, not by a long shot; mainly due to injuries.

Still, AA tried. One of his hard nose hits I remember was when he viciously slammed NY Giants WR Joe Jeravicius as he was completing a pass -- so hard the ball popped free and DE Grant Wistrom intercepted it to end the game with a Rams win.

I hope Arch stays healthy and resumes his play to be successful. He works hard and now he's been payed very well. Best wishes.

I'm happy for Arch. It's certainly not his fault Snyder overpaid to get him. More power to him. The Washington game this coming season just got more interesting.

I really liked Arch a lot. I even wish him well with all his millions. The Skins paid a lot for him. Is it possible that they saw something in him that eludes the current Ram's brain trust?

Gotta say - he better have something up his sleeve, because if he shows he cannot takle and close space because of his back, the Skins will have made a major blunder for sure.
