AZ Cardinals NFLs Most improved Team
I was watching a FOXsports show yesterday on the NFL season. One of the hosts predicted the Cardinals will win the first 4 games and be the talk of the NFL come October.
Win the first 4, that's an interesting prediction since we play them in Week 2!
One of the guys that spent a couple days at their training facility in Pre-season said their DEF looks like New Englands. And, he said Warner completed 25 passes in a row in a scrimmage!
Strap on your helmets for 2005!

Re: AZ Cardinals NFLs Most improved Team
They could very well be the NFL's most improved team in 2005, but I think the Rams (and us as fans) should worry about the niiiiiners before looking ahead to those Cardinals.

Good point sb.The team and fans should always be focused on the game ahead, and not games ahead.

Re: AZ Cardinals NFLs Most improved Team
Yeah, I've seen a lot of hype and speculation on the Cards.
For example, a lot of "experts" are saying how J.J. Arrington is going to give them a great running game.
Of course, based on his preseason stats, Arrington isn't even as good as Aveon Cason. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Re: AZ Cardinals NFLs Most improved Team
I remember a certain "team" that won it's first four games in a row one year then went to Indy and that certain "team" went south quick.

Re: AZ Cardinals NFLs Most improved Team
I'll believe it when they have a winning record.
Over hyped just like the Seahawks were last year.
I still don't think their O line will give Kurt the protection he needs, nor help in the running game as was evident during pre-season.

Here's a question...How can a defense be good if it allows a quarterback to complete 25 passes in a row in a scrimmage?
2nd question...What does a quarterback who looks good in a scrimmage have to do with how they will look in a real game?

Re: AZ Cardinals NFLs Most improved Team
Chalk it up to just some talking heads looking for something to report on before the season begins. I'll believe it when I see it, but personally, although I do believe that the Cards will be improved over last year, I think that some other teams in the league will show more improvement.
I wish someone would keep track on all the preseason predictions made by all the sports writers and sports show hosts. Maybe their salaries should be adjusted each year according to the accuracy of their predictions. After all, aren't they getting paid for being experts?
