Back Up QB
Can Trent Green be a more effective backup than Ferotte next season?
He's old, but so is Fer-turn it over six times in one game-otte. But, the system should be something he'd be familiar with.
I don't like Gus. This was a personal thing from when he helped me go bankrupt in the faux betting this season.

Re: Back Up QB
I think there are a 2 vet QB's FOAS who could come in and be major upgrades one being Todd Collins the other being Trent one concussion away Green. If I were Green knowing i was one concusion away the team that offers the best line is the team i go to, and unless we do big things on the line we won't be that team

Re: Back Up QB
How about that #2 QB currently employed by the New Orleans Saints?
He as been in the league a long time now and was considered good enough to be called in from retirement at least twice.

Re: Back Up QB
Why dont we go after that guy in Cincinatti, whats his name again? Hes the back up to Palmer....Man i just cant think of his name, hes better then Gus"im a qb?" Frerotte. Man, i just dont understand it, i know i know him, hmmmm, ah yes, Fitzpatrick is his name. I wonder if he could do better then frerotten or Brock Berlin. hmmmmmmm, wait a second, he used to play for the rams! holy crap! well i can understand getting rid of Fitzy and bringing in Frerotten, hes the man......
we need to get rid of Frerotten now. Todd Collins would be a good veteran to bring in, and hopefully in a couple years or so we get a top qb in the draft to groom as Bulgers replacement.

Re: Back Up QB
Don't want anymore injury-prone players, and Trent is getting pretty old. Collins would be nice to have, but I wish we could go after someone younger. If we don't get Fitzpatrick, we need a guy in the later rounds (maybe 6 or 7) to be the 3rd stringer (if we do manage to get Collins or someone to be 2nd string).

Re: Back Up QB
As Bulger's backup, I would like to see either Collins or Green. I would have to take Collins over Green.

Re: Back Up QB
Jeff George, lol.
I would be happy with Todd Collins. I've seen him look just amazing a few times this year, and I think he'd be a great guy to have if you need a QB to play for a few games.
I am worried about Bulger's health though, so whoever it is, they need to be a proven veteran.
