Was checking out CBSSportsline, reading "Pats have no pulse, but they'll be resuscitated" came across this little gem.
"Next season, according to reports, the Patriots have roughly $30 million in cap space. They have two first-round picks in the 2007 draft. Giving Pioli $30 million and an extra No. 1 pick is like giving Shawne Merriman an extra syringe. Expect massive results."
Don't know who this Doyle guy is, but that Merriman line is GOLD!

Though I hate to admit it Belicheck did another masterful job. The Pats had several injuries to key players and also the Deion Branch saga to overcome. They also lost David Givens to the Titans and their DC to the Jets. Yet they were only 1 game from the Big Dance.
With the draft picks and cap room they have combined with their excellent abilities to get the most out of their players new and old. The NFL better pay attention because they will be a threat again next season.:x
I am so sick of this team and their HC I hope for once they fall flat on their faces. Not likely though.:x
