Damn there goes my top FA target for the Rams this year, can't say it's unexpected though, I thought they'd tag him all along. Grant would be my #1 choice right now, but as someone said I too think they'll tag him next. Tough year to get good FA's.

The good news is that now the Bengals won't pay Steinbach what he's looking for. ( Sirius- NFL talk) Sports writer that covers the Bengals was on.

Justin Smith is...I believe gone...
I was reading the ticker at applebees when I shouldn't have been (should've been paying attention to the chicks...hehe). I think it said the bengals have franchised him...so unless we're hell bent on getting him, they can match any of our offers...I hate that!

Im ok with smith being franchised, he was a decent DE, if we were going to go after him we were going to have to pay him really good DE money. I would prefer us to get Grant. However, I wouldn't mind us getting Jarvis Moss in the draft.
