Blackmon arrested for DUI

With everyone criticizing how we drafted people with "off-field issues" one of the first draftees of this offseason to get into trouble with the law wasnt a ram! Just a guy named Justin Blackmon that we almost got the chance to draft.

Receiver Justin Blackmon, picked fifth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in April's draft, was arrested for aggravated DUI early Sunday in Stillwater, Okla., the Tulsa World reported.

The 22-year-old Blackmon was booked into the Payne County Jail at 10 a.m. CT, the newspaper reported. Under Oklahoma law, a driver's blood alcohol level must be .15 or higher to be charged with aggravated DUI.

It is the second DUI arrest for the former Oklahoma State star, who also was arrested

Justin blackmon or didn't have the chance to .. Because I've seen reports of him being arrested for another DUI... You know .. I don't blame him, if I was drafted to the jags id drink too LOL all jokes aside

Amazing with the "questionable" players we drafted that it's the one that got away to get into trouble first.

Yahoo Sports is reporting Blackmon was arrrested in Stillwater for DUI. Blood alcohol level .15 or more is the charge.

What do you guys think about this ??

I think it's a pretty stupid decision on a number of levels. Ignoring for a moment the colossal danger of driving under the influence and just focusing on what it means for him professionally, it's his second arrest for DUI so he's going to have to work even harder now to prove this isn't who he is and isn't something he's going to continue to do. But on top of that, he's not been signed by the Jaguars yet, so if they weren't looking at some possible off the field incentives and langauge in that deal before, they certainly are now.

I remember people posting a while back that it didn't really count or affect anything because it was DUI#1 and was non-repetitive.

I saw this and started laughing. I remember when the Jags said Blackmon looked lost in practice and now he is hit with a DUI, or an aggravated DUI. I don't know how good he will be but that is 2 reports that Blackmon is not doing very good. I know we will see how good he will be but thanks for jumping us in the draft for that headache.
