as much as i loved/love Bly i think the lions have done great business,not sure who would win out between kevin jones and tatum bell when they are both fit and play behind the same o-line,will be interested to see how than one pans out,also as a big fan of o-linemen i like foster i think he will upgrade what is already a pretty decent o-line in detriot that just required one more nugget to put them in the elite category!

yeah it is,potentionally the best db tandem in the nfl and with the sad and untimely death of darrent williams the broncos hand was forced!

lions possibly got the better of the deal but broncos filled their pressing need!

Very good deal for the Lions. They now add a starting caliber runner in the event that Kevin Jones takes longer to heal, and have added a solid player on the right side of that line opposite of Jeff Backus. I think Tatum could really be productive in Martz's offense. Meanwhile, Denver gets someone to play beside Champ Bailey and could potentially field two Pro Bowl corners this year. Works out pretty well for all sides, I think. I'm interested to see how Denver replaces those holes though, well moreso the RT than the HB.

Good deal for both sides. Like I said in the thread I started, Bly is amazing. Now Denver has well the same great secondary (-Williams,RIP, + Bly) and the Lions get a soild RB to share the load and keep Jones Healthy. I know its early but if we don't pick up some good Skilled player I am gonna be pissed. I'm already too fristrated to continue...
