NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on 850 KOA in Denver that Brandon Marshall asked Broncos owner Pat Bowlen for a trade during their meeting Friday.
What do you think? I know he's got problems but he would be our #1 and take some pressure off Avery....
I think you can characterize that guy as a "Pillar Killer."
Marshall,Vick,Burress,T.O.etc....
they all may be good to have on Madden but you dont get players being locker room cancers or prison inmates on Madden.
whilst our rebuilding is at the foundation level..to add anyone of them or anyone with similar issues would be like trying to build a skyscraper on quicksand.

Oh come on Brandon Marshall isn't that bad. Another guy named Marshall had some character issues- but he turned out alright for the Rams.

5.Sept. 7 2008 misdemeanor battery charges were filed against Marshall in Fulton County Georgia.
6.March 1st 2009, Marshall was arrested for disorderly conduct AGAIN. Obviousley he's been rehabilitated.
As for Marshall Faulks legal trouble I was unable to find even 1 instance so even bringing up Faulks name with this woman beater is an insult to Faulk. No thanks someone else can have this head case of a wr.
i think brandon marshall is a great nfl reciever
he has some off the field problems here and there but you cant deny his production
if spags and devaney feel that he can change then they should try to get him
however if they feel there are to many problems then they should pass on him
Brandon Marshall has had off the field problems, but you cant deny the guys talent. There is not a single receiver on this team that can perform the way this guy does on gameday. If you shut the door on every guy that's had a problem then you end up losing out on some good players.
In the end he's a rare talent that would instantly improve the offense and give Marc a nice big target to throw too. Some guys are worth the trouble and some arent. This is guy is worth the risk
Why is EVERY SINGLE LOSER in the league that gets released, or put on the trading block, by their original team get mentioned as possible fodder for the Rams?

Great talent, HORRIBLE citizen. Multiple arrests, consistent pattern of bad behavior going back years with his latest arrest just 3 short months ago, this guy is a major risk and will never pass the "four pillars" test, no way. NEXT.
You're right he's a great talent. Exactly what good does it do though if he gets arrested again and gets suspended? He gets arrested like every 4-6 months. Is he really a risk worth taking? Not to mention the freaking money he would demand and a draft pick we lose NO THANKS.Quote:

Call me spoilded but I have gotten too use to players like Holt/Bruce-Akhiem etc as Ram WR. Just shows that you can have your cake and eat it too. Someone to be proud of to have on the squad and potentual Hall of fame bound.
