Re: Brett Favre Traded to the Jets
Well now that Favre is in the AFC East, I hope the JETS beat the Patriots at least once.

Re: Brett Favre Traded to the Jets
Maybe not so much with the Jets' locker room, though. From Newsday...
Despite the huge outpouring of support for the Jets' aggressiveness in trading a conditional fourth-round draft pick - which ultimately could escalate into a first-rounder if Favre leads them to the Super Bowl - Favre has his work cut out in winning his new teammates' hearts and minds.
One player said the locker room is hardly unanimous about the move to get Favre, telling Newsday that a significant portion of the team was not in favor of giving up on Chad Pennington. The players loyal to Pennington were upset to see the team simply toss him overboard after he'd given so much to the team during his time with the Jets.
But there appeared to be an equally large group that warmed to the idea of bringing in Favre to provide instant juice to an offense that hasn't had a powerful downfield thrower in years.

Re: Brett Favre Traded to the Jets
wonder if the Jets will give him his own changing room like he had in Green Bay...or if he`ll have to "rough" it and dress with the mere mortals...
i reckon it was just that he used to dress with the Pack until he caught a glimpse of donald`s driver and for once it made him feel inferior.

Re: Brett Favre Traded to the Jets
It isn't uncommon for star players to have special treatment. Edgerrin James has 2 lockers, separate from the team, in Arizona. I'm sure there are other examples.wonder if the Jets will give him his own changing room like he had in Green Bay...or if he`ll have to "rough" it and dress with the mere mortals...

Re: Brett Favre Traded to the Jets
i hear you dude...and as a player i think Favre will go down as one the great overachievers in NFL history ,credit to him for that and for many years (in my case 10) i had a lot of time for brett!
is just with all the tears, all the every summer "retirement" saga`s and all the im a team man rhetoric....ya think he`d dress with the rest of the boys wouldnt ya..?
im interested to see how that sort of thing would go down with the multi-talented O-line that will be protecting his ass at the Jets....hope they all go in there and give him an atomic wedgie!
