Hey, maybe they will draft the equivalent of our DLew and Archuleta....

Re: The Broncos traded their 2nd 1st round pick to the*****!

well there goes my outside bet thought that broncos might give up their 22nd for curtis!

dont think it will help the 40whiners that much they need more than two starters!

Well, what if the whiners take those two picks and trade them to Houston for the #1 overall? didn't the QB they took last year play with Reggie Bush in HS?

Houston has more needs than anyone, and honestly RB isn't really all that glaring to Texans fans.

Re: The Broncos traded their 2nd 1st round pick to the*****!

If thats what the niners do with the picks (ie use them to trade up to get reggie b) think about how much better off they would have been if they had just lost the game to the texans in the first place! Something of a parallel point to the rams cowboys game from my perspective (i am not starting a debate on that one again, we have discussed it ad naseum and i think we have to agree to disagree)

ramming speed to all

Re: The Broncos traded their 2nd 1st round pick to the*****!

I just don't see how this helps them that much. They have so many gaping holes on both sides of the ball. Sure, if they trade up and get Bush, they get the best player in the draft. But, they still have to be able to use him.
If they don't trade for #1, then I think the trade was a joke. Denver would've lost very little. Actually, Denver probably got the better end of that deal.

Re: The Broncos traded their 2nd 1st round pick to the*****!

I'm not sure why people are saying this doesn't help them. Two first round picks are, in theory, better than one, especially when they still have a pick in the third despite trading their's away in this deal, which for the record, is exactly even in value for both sides, I believe.

This would allow the Niners to take Davis at sixth overall and address their defense with a good prospect at 22nd overall.

Value-wise, it would take more than just those two first rounders. But that said, I think they'd be better served staying put and picking up two first round talents.

Well, who do the whiners have currently at RB? I hope they aren't going to be in a position to take DeAngelo.

Re: The Broncos traded their 2nd 1st round pick to the*****!

my own point of view which is the only one i can comment on really is that although two 1st rounders is clearly better than one,it wont get them off the bottom of the nfc west,it wont make them that much of a better team, they have far too many holes!
they got the first overall last year and due to lack of talent around him he didnt make any sort of impact atall, they may improve slightly from last year with an extra first round pick but then again they have at present more holes to fill than last year!

Kevan Barlow and Frank Gore, so they're not too bad. I don't think it's so much of a need that they need to use those picks to trade up, especially considering it would likely require more than those two picks anyways.

They do have a lot of holes, but two first round picks can make a difference. I think it would be a mistake to minimalize what two first rounders in this very talented draft can do.

Like I said, let's hope for two picks like DLew and Arch and all will be well.

Ah, but wouldn't it be fun to see Bush and Gore running for the *****?
