Bruce Jersey
I just got a look at the new Bruce jersey on the Reebok shop site,he is going to be #88 for the Niners and after staring at it for a few minutes I still can't believe that it has really happened,I may need therapy after this.

Me too jk. I can only imagine what it'll be like watching him run the Rams DB's in circles in that #88 jersey. Good thing Alex Smith will be the one throwing the ball.

Re: Bruce Jersey
I'm glad I have my Bruce Jersey next to my computer. So when I start crying I look up and remember the good days.
Luckily, as mentioned before, Alex Smith is throwing the ball, so we're not too concerned.

I wish you guys would quit fixating on that. I like to give this board a little more credit in terms of football smarts/savvy. Shaun Hill and J.T. O'Sullivan are both going to get a good opportunity to become the starter and both are better than Smith. It won't be an issue for the ***** to get the ball to Bruce.

I agree. I said it a while ago. I think Shaun Hill has a shot at taking the starting spot under the tutelage of Martz. We all know Martz can do wonders with QBs, so even if he can't get much or anything out of Smith, I wouldn't bet against Martz getting something out of Hill or maybe even J.T.
With Martz in SF there should be at least some concern. They already have a decent defense (this isn't Detroit we're talking about) and now throw Martz and Bruce into the mix along with Gore (if Martz uses Gore properly) they could be dangerous.

Mutter, mutter.......You did notice the smiley face after the Alex Smith comment, right? I have no doubt Ike will get his regardless of who's throwing the ball.

Re: Bruce Jersey
I think I just had a vision of Shaun Hill throwing a 74 yard TD pass to Bruce... and in the Dome...
That's gonna hurt so bad if it happens. Yeah, I'll be happy for Bruce, but common now.

Re: Bruce Jersey
I knew you were just throwing that out there for a funny Mike, but I think some aren't worried just because it's Alex Smith. With Martz there I think Rams fans should be a little concerned for now anyways.

No doubt ramsbruce that things are going to improve for the whiners with Martz and Bruce there, although I think Ike will have to go through some frustrating times and have a lot of patience. Again, he's going to get his, he's too good to keep down.
