Arizona could be kind of scarey next season as they just signed James to a four year deal!!
Man! This sucks!
Warner, James, Bouldin, Fitz and if they take Davis...WOW!!
Dang. Now 4x's a year. Edgerin James, and Shaun Alexander. We should hopefully get Will Witherspoon and Bart Scott.
Can't say we couldn't see it coming, but it still hurts. I'd say the odds of Davis getting to #11 just plummeted. We'll need to shore up that rushing defense more than ever this year.
Looks like someone else is trying to make a statement in free agency. Yikes!
We got the spoon, bring it on Warner!
Warner and his boys

Warner under center, Boldin and Fitzgerald at wideout, Edge at RB!!!! And possibly Vernon Davis at TE!!!!! :O :O :O :O
The thing is, the Rams O is still better, and there is no way Davis goes to the Cards
I hope not. The last few years the Cardinals have really struggled in the red zone. Think of all those Racker field goals that could be TDs with a target like Davis. If "the Duke" gets past the *****, I'll bet he winds up in Glendale. But now that SF has traded off one of their best receivers for reasons beyond me, they certainly do look like they could go for Davis.
Edge won't be good anymore. Unless they get their O Line in shape, he's gonna be in the backfield more than anything with the Cardinals.
In my opinion, the Cardinals will either draft an offensive lineman like Winston Justice, or they'll take one of the QBs if they slip. If Jay Cutler doesn't go high and live up to the pre-draft hype, I could see him landing in Arizona as the future of their QB position.
As bad as the Card's o-line was last year it wasn't as bad as it seemed. More than anything else, injuries had the unit so depleted that there was no hope for any continuity. Only until the last few games of the year did the unit as a whole play consecutive games together. Add to that, guys playing out of position and in a brand new system they were destined to have struggles with the injuries on top of that.
They won't necessarily be pro-bowlers next year, but year two of the system and a little health will make them formidable enough that NFC West teams will have to be concerned. They also have a new o-line coach that has a little better track record than the first year guy from last year.
i know the cards have all the right "cards" in their hand, no pun intended, but their problems are still present on defense, special teams, and their O-line. I think the future is in boldin and fitz, not around edge (who will be good obviously but not as productive as with colts) and as much as i love warner, hes only got a few good years left
I thought I heard rumblings about the Cardinals possibly moving Leonard Davis from tackle to guard. Do you know if there's been any more news on that, or if it was legit to even begin with?Quote:
