I hate to say this, but..
'Zona got a big boost by whipping us. Like us, they know they are loaded with talent, and have been needing something to 'get over'. We were that something. Now, they've got the attitude that they can do damage.
Seattle, OTOH, is where we were after the officials won SB XXXVI. While still potent, they are NOT what they were one year ago. Hasselbeck is not a 'comeback kid'. Once they fall behind, they aren't real successful at pulling out a win.
I see 'Zona winning this one. If Farve took his Geritol and put on a clean Depends this afternoon, the whiners might fall, too.
Now, imagine this: A Christmas Miracle might happen, and we beat the Bears. That means SEA @ 8-5, SF @ 5-8, STL @ 6-7, and ARI @ 4-9. Now, this means that 'Zona, no matter how good they play the last 3 weeks, can't win the West. SF CAN still win it, as can we.
That's messed up. None of the NFC West teams is really playoff material, yet 3/4 of the teams are still in the hunt, with only 3 weeks left after today.
My brain hurts. I think that means I need a beer.
Down goes Seattle.
And now the record is broken. 29 for LT.
I am actually annoyed by this. For cryin' out loud just take the division already. :(
There isn't a single team in the NFCW that has any business in the playoffs :x
Go Niners! :seasux:
I can't help but find this a bit funny. The NFC is bad in general, and no team in the NFC West wants to take the lead. Seattle has all their starters back. They have no excuses this time.
I guess the Cards may be better than their record indicates.
I think the Hawks would have lost week against Denver if they did not start the rokkie QB Jay C.
