Chiefs agree to terms with CB Ty Law
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Pro Bowl cornerback Ty Law agreed to a five-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Law spent last season with the New York Jets, leading the NFL with 10 interceptions. He will rejoin coach Herman Edwards in Kansas City. Edwards left the Jets for the Chiefs in January, and has vowed to rebuild a defense that has been near the bottom of the league for five years.
Law is expected to be in Kansas City on Monday for a physical, team spokesman Bob Moore told The Associated Press.

Kind of surprised by this signing. Living in Patriots country the rumor was that he was coming back to the Patriots.

I hope he doesnt pick off a pass from bulger when we face them this season.... One my hopes was to get him this offseason but he would of cost a lot.

I'd put good money that the contract being offered by the Chiefs was better, and Law seems like a guy who wants his money.

Im just glad we didnt sign him. This Rams team isnt likely to win any better with the addition of Law, so i would rather give the younger CBs a chance to play and improve.
