Classy move, Bill Belichick...
Patriots are up 38-0 on the Redskins entering the fourth quarter. They face a fourth down on the Redskin 7-yard line and the Patriots go for it, converting on a QB sneak that eventually leads to another TD making it 45-0. Later in the game with 7:16 remaining, the Patriots attempt another fourth down convesion from the Redskins 37 and succeed, going on to score another touchdown to make it 52-0.
It's as if the Patriots want people to hate them...

Then, post game he calmly responds, "we're just playing"...
Next week, Go COLTS!

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
I loved it. I love watching the Pats this year. They are going to go down in History as the sickest team of all time and i'm happy I was able to watch it happen.
Football isn't about being "fair" or "nice". It is about winning. Keep scoring Pats!

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
Remember how crucified martz was in the national media for allegedly running up scores, including the onside kick in the 4th quarter vs the jets.
Meanwhile, a proven cheater gets no criticism and no suspension for his actions. What a joke.

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
Did you guys see the fake spike at the end of the first half? Personally, I thought that was a pretty cheap tactic when you're up 17-0.

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
It'll be fantastic when this team hits the down slope. The longer a team plays well, the longer they seem to suck. Teams are going to remember games like that one when they do suck, and then it will be payback time.

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
I can't believe anyone aside from Patriots fan would love what the Pats are doing. John Gruden could have done that to the Rams but he chose to have his team take a knee late in the 4th qtr and showed the Rams some mercy. It's an unwritten rule you just dont do that EVER. I hope the Colts kick their butts next week. That whole team just disgusts me. Running up the score on a Joe Gibbs coached squad, Gibbs is classy he never did that in his hay day with the Skins.
Just Fix It

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
I just don't like Belichick or his team.
He seems to be a singularly classless individual with an almost inhuman ability to rub people up the wrong way.
If he's the acceptable face of a winner then count me happy that we're 0-8.
Nothing's worth that.

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
Honostly I am happy for the future. There will be a time when the Patriots are not as good and people will be running up the score on them. I only hope Belicheck is coaching when it happens.
Belicheck broke the rule of coaching so hopefully he pays for it for a long time.

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
I've despised the Patriots ever since they cheated their way to Superbowl XXXVI.
I really don't like Peyton Manning (although I love Tony Dungy to death!), so I normally don't root for the Colts either.
But this week... GO COLTS.

Re: Classy move, Bill Belichick...
I saw the end of the game against the Redskins. Joe Gibbs walked off the field without congratulating Belichick. I thought for sure Gibbs was upset about the running up the score issue. After the game during Gibbs press conference, Joe said he had no problem with it.:x
