Congrats to the Saints!
They really earned it on the field tonight. Great game by the whole team and especially from Drew Brees. That guy can be my team's QB any day.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Who dat.
What a great game, I was really impressed by how much the Saints just seemed to want that game. The Colts looked less driven.

Happy for them.
I was shocked by how lax the Colts' D was that game. And the fact that they made no half time adjustments was amazing to me.

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
Why was it amazing to you? Everyone has been singing the praises of the Colt's head coach but he was handed a team on a silver platter. He'd almost have to try to lose games most sundays.

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
I don't like the Saints at all, never have, but they outplayed the Colts, were more aggressive, took chances and deserved that win. Drew Brees was amazing after a slow start. He showed a lot of heart and played like a champion.

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
If you would have told me the Colts would score 17 points, I would have called you crazy. Heck of a job by New Orleans in a very, very well-deserved victory tonight!
Congrats Saints!

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
Remember how it was just 4 years ago when they drafted reggie bush at number 2 overall?
Just saying guys, they turned it around pretty quick, in two or three years I can see the Rams hoisting that Lombardi Trophy!

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
Three plays made that Superbowl for me:
The onside kick to start the half, Lance Moore's ridiculously good two point conversion, and of course Tracy Porter's interception return for a TD

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
I was in no way praising Caldwell. But most of the other coaches have been there long enough and the way they just let Brees have a dink n dunk offense all 1st half, one would've thought perhaps more blitzing would affect them. They were (kind of like the Saints) just making sure no big plays would happen. The difference between the two teams is that the Saints have a more balanced and methodical offense as opposed to the big play threat Colts offense. Not saying the Saints don't have big plays, they do--but I think it frustrated Manning more than Brees and as a result, Peyton was out of his element. Kudos to Greg Williams.

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
I really liked how aggressive the Saints were: going for the TD on fourth down in the first half, the on-side kick to start the second, etc.
The Colts played well, but the Saints not only rose to the challenge but kept it entertaining. It was nice to see it all come together for them.

Re: Congrats to the Saints!
Shaun Peyton is a good coach. Big Balls in Big Games thats coaching, Brees played like a champ.
Manning was awsome throwing into tight coverage all night and only got 1 picked, but the run was there for the Colts and they didnt adjust they stuck with the pass no matter what. Yeah its Manning but you still have to take what a defense gives you and the run was THERE all night for the Colts. I think Dungy would have seen that.
Anyway great game and I couldnt be happier for the people in NO with all the crap they've been thru the last few years.
Next year tho, I hope the Rams crush'em. LOL LOL
