    Congrats Seahawk Fans

On FINALLY winning a playoff game...lol

No, in all seriousness, I know how frustrating it is to go through the dry spells and the rough years, so big congrats to your team.

Word of advice though...don't let this magical season spoil you as much as 1999-2001 spoiled some of us. Nothing anyone can do would ever be good enough again.

    Good luck next week!

Classy post and thank you. We had to win this game because me committing suicide would have devastated my kids. If we win next week, great. But without today, this season would have been an outright failure.

Here's to continuing a great Rams / Seahawks rivalry next year.

I wandered over to seahawks.net and you can actually FEEL the excitement over there.

Obviously, I wish it was us Rams in it, but you gotta feel good for the Hawks faithful that have stuck behind them. They're getting some dividends now, and I for one, am happy for them.

Yes, I gotta admit, that is cool for the Hawks.....It has been a long time and I too wish it was our RAMS, but I know that feeling and what a feeling that is........Congrats on today's win!!

I too want to say congrats, and wish continued success in the playoffs.

Hopefully our new coach can get us straightened out enough to go back to whipping the Hawks next year.

:football: Good game, Seahawks. I suspect your next rival will be Chicago.

    Thanks, Mom, for the thread.

If it is, I think Seattle will be fine in terms of winning that game. If I'm a Seahawk fan, I don't want to face a team like Carolina who has more offensive weapons.

This was a good win for Seattle, but honestly, they should have put this game away much sooner than the final minutes of the contest. The Hawks defense did a great job shutting Portis down, but Moss and Cooley both got their numbers, and Brunell actually had a pretty decent day. If the Redskins offense wasn't so pathetic, this game might have turned out differently.

Which is why I think, if I'm Seattle, I want to face the more one-dimensional offense of Chicago than someone like Carolina, who has talent both running and passing the ball. Chicago's defense is tougher, but Seattle showed they can deal with tough defenses today. But if Seattle can shut down the Chicago running attack, I don't think Grossman beats them in the air. Whereas if they can shut down Carolina's running attack, I think the Panthers could adjust.

Good win, Seattle. But I'd be rooting for Chicago tomorrow if I were you.

To do what they did without Alexander was pretty impressive. They seem to overcome adversity every week and laid to rest that last monkey on their back.

I'm actually in Seattle this week and the place is going nuts. I guess 21 years of frustration will create that effect.

Congrats to all our Seahawk friends.

Congrats Seahawk. Congratulations to your players, coaches, fans, but specially your FO that have been upgrading the team consistently over the last years (ok, taking the talent away from us, fisher, winstrom) and sticking to a plan to get you on a SB chase. I believe you are the most underrated team in nfl. I just hope you can shut some espn mouth

Thanks guys! I've been waiting a long time for this. Of course, I live in WI, and have been getting crap from my friends since Elementary School for being a Hawk fan (I especially remember 4th grade when they went 2-14 and even my teacher gave me a hard time, lol)

    Nice Jacket

Thanks for all the good words guys, adn gals. We are now looking forward to a good game next week against the Panthers (why couldn't it have been the Bears). BUt I really hope we beat them and go to the Super Bowl...I really don't know what I would do then...probably poop my pants or something like that...
