We all know Ike has way too much class to say anything like that.

He did say:

"I could hear the fans cheering for me and I was humbled by it," Bruce said.

He added, "It was different and difficult for me all day and just coming into this building. I tried to hold back and keep a poker face," he said.

"I owed it to the St. Louis fans to play my best in front of them," said Bruce, a member of the Rams from 1994-2007. "I saw so many faces here from when I played in St. Louis

"I stopped to say hello to a lot of them and wished them a merry Christmas," Bruce said. "I love them and I missed them. And all of their sentiments were the same."

I loved and hated this game. The D was on fire, Bruces's routes are well known, and we had a good first half. I was Happy to see Ike's last moments. I was also happy to see SJ go over his hundred.

OJ was a beast today. Mark threw a bomb to Burton, yet we still had the same ending that seems to oh so common for us.

I don't think we will see SJ next week. He played his guts out injured, and we did have a good game, untill.......................

Reverand Ike is a first class act all the way and I held Torry's thoughts as well. Let's see Bruce set his record but focus on a Ram's win.

I'm sincerely happy for Bruce and proud of our fans in supporting him. I only wish our Rams could play a full 4 quarters of competitive and exciting football.

I guess, yet once again, we must say, "maybe next year".

It's sad to see Bruce in a Whiners jersey. But the man played his heart out. We're going to have to retire his number...
