David Pollack Bengals career likely over

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2697810

Very sad news. He was a great DE at Georgia and could have been a very productive LB in the pros. Best of luck to him and his family.

Sad news, always awful with injuries like that. Any injury to the neck has a chance to be very serious. He was a promising player whom I thought we might draft back when he was out of college, I hope he pulls through it somehow.

I don't think it is very sad. He is fully functional. He may not be destined to play football in the NFL, but that is not the end of the world.

He's fortunate to be able to walk and have feeling in his legs. It could have been much, much worse. Still, it's unfortunate to see any career end like this.
