Re: Deal reached with former Packers' RB Green
I'd put strong money on Texans offensive coordinator and former Packers head coach Mike Sherman playing a big part in this one.

GC, id bet on the Texans still grabbing Peterson. Green would be starting while Peterson develops, and then will be backup once Peterson starts. its definitely not out of the question yet. However, it is much less likely they will go for a big trade to move up.

This surprises me and I'm sure it surprises Brett (Favra) to. Favra is coming back for another season hoping to play on a winner. Green leaving the team hurts I would say. Brett might want to start rethinking his situation and go crawdad fishing instead.
