I'm not 100% positive, but I think "Every Coaches Dream" is a self-given nickname by Chris Johnson himself. I'm pretty sure anyone with an once of creativity could come up with something better.

he was originally part of some "Thunder and Lightning" team with Landwhale White but decided he wanted to go solo. Strangely, after he gave himself the new nickname White was phased out of the running game of the Titans in favour of more touches for Johnson

Yes that should be the record for a fourteen game season. Dickerson is the 16 game record holder. You cant add games and say he broke such and such's record, it took two more games.

Although I would like to believe it, there is no way protecting the record of a guy who played 20 years ago and probably none of these guys have met is extra motivation. If they stop Chris Johnson it's because they want to win the game. With the number of players changing teams I'm sure that team history doesn't mean too much to them.

I think CJ is going to have a few seasons like this. He looks to be the new standard in RB's now as the dual threat with crazy elite speed. I bet CJ Spiller from Clemson gets over drafted because of Johnson's success in the league.

I love watching this kid run. He is so effortless and when he hits the Jets its just over.

pretty clear who is the best back in the league..........the guy had over 180 yds and seemed quiet about it. He is now ahead of pace to break MFaulks total yardage record.........and on pace for over 2000. Nice yr. Good luck the rest fo the way. SJax had a rough day.

The difference is that in 1999 when Faulk set this record he raised a Vince Lambardi at the end of the season.
