The Miami Dolphins, who just this week acquired receiver Brandon Marshall from the Broncos, have traded WR Tedd Ginn Jr. to the San Francisco *****, FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer posted on Twitter.
Ginn, a top prospect out of Ohio State, was drafted by the Dolphins ninth overall in the 2007 NFL draft.

Re: Dolphins Ship Ted Ginn Jr. to Niners
Why is this bad? Ginn has done very little in the NFL, apart from a couple of highlight film kickoff returns.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Not too big of a deal.

Re: Dolphins Ship Ted Ginn Jr. to Niners
Other than two back to back kickoff returns, he's done nothing to show he should have been drafted in the fourth round, little lone the first round! He's got horrible stats, worse hands, and I'm actually happy that we get to play him twice a year. Guess it means the Whiners won't be going after Dez Bryant if he's there for them, either.
I believe!

Re: Dolphins Ship Ted Ginn Jr. to Niners
He has been a big disappointment for sure, but i would much rather have him than a 5th round pick, which is what the whiners gave up for him. Nice speed guy opposite crabtree with vernon davis as well. If they had a real qb, they would be dangerous.
ramming speed to all

I'm just hoping this deters them from looking at a guy like Dez Bryant in the 1st or even a 2nd round WR.

niners just got a great KR and a potential very good WR with some of the best speed in the nfl if he can solve his dropping problem for a 5th-6th round pick,
yeah, it sucks.

Re: Dolphins Ship Ted Ginn Jr. to Niners
I wouldn't be too happy. The guy is a rocket. He's an excellent returner right now and a dangerous WR. He is not very good or very polished, but he is a very difficult cover. He speed puts pressure on the defense because you never know when he'll actually hold onto the ball. The Niners weren't getting anybody better with their fifth.
Ginn single-handedly beat the Jets twice last year. Once with back to back kick returns and once by beating Revis (presumably safety help was late)

Remember the niners just got the #9 ovr pick from just a couple years ago for a 5th rounder.
