Eagles, Vick Agree to six-year 100 million deal
The Eagles have their man, and he isn’t going anywhere.
The team agreed to a six-year, $100 million contract with QB Michael Vick on Monday, NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reported, citing a league source.
The contract includes nearly $40 million guaranteed and averages more than $16 million during the first three years.
Vick was scheduled to play under the $16 million franchise tender this season.

I'm happy for him getting back on track after getting out of prison and getting his life back together.

Re: Eagles, Vick Agree to six-year 100 million deal
I think Vick is being overpaid by about $70 million. At his best, he's not worth anywhere near $100 million. Are you sure this wasn't the Redskins offering him this much?

Jeffrey Lurie is gonna want a rebate after the opener! He may even want to slap his wife again.

That's a lot of money for a quarterback who's legs are declining, has questionable accuracy, and struggles to beat teams with good defenses.

Re: Eagles, Vick Agree to six-year 100 million deal
For a 31 year old guy who relies so much on his physical skills, a 6 year 100m contract is way too much. Especially when you consider he has only played all 16 regular season games once out of eight seasons he has played in.
You wouldn't give a 31 year old running back a contract like this, and it doesn't make sense to give Vick one

Re: Eagles, Vick Agree to six-year 100 million deal
If you saw what The Eagles O-line allowed The Browns to do to him, it's hard to believe he'll survive long enough to earn that outrageous guarantee.

Re: Eagles, Vick Agree to six-year 100 million deal
Reports are that its not a $100m deal really, since the 6th year for $20m voids if Vick takes more than 35% of the snaps in any season. Which he will obviously do in one of these seasons unless he gets injured
