Espn Reports
Now we will find out if it was physical or personal with the Rams and Warner. He will sign with the Giants and if he is not hurt he should have no problem beating out a rookie QB.
Notes: We don’t play the Giants this year unless it’s in the playoffs. The official web site of the Rams don’t mention Warner’s release, if they do it’s so small I missed it.

Re: Espn Reports
It's Bulger's team. It wasn't personal. Even Faulk said Martz is great to play for. A players coach.
A HC is paid to win or lose. Not to make friends. Hard decisions have to be made by someone, and you can't argue with the results from last year.

Re: Espn Reports
Wow who said Martz was the bad guy; there is a GM and President, in the FO. Yeah I can argue with last year, when it was Marc’s team, we did not win it all, in fact we lost at home, playing for a tie. Now that was the head coach or lack of confidence in Marc. Whatever the case you are right it’s Marc’s team; we have a tough schedule, let’s see if he can do it without out Warner coaching him on every other series. Let’s see how Marc and Martz do if the kid plays like he did in his last seven and we start to lose against above .500 team. It’s going to be fun…

Re: Espn Reports
What I think is interesting is can Warner win without Martz?
We'll see....

Re: Espn Reports
That seems to be the popular viewpoint of Warner, that he was "made" by the Rams' and Martz's system. While he became a superstar with that system he succeeded at every level of professional football before reaching the Rams. I think he's shown to be versatile and adaptible, excelling in various offensive systems.
Does that guarentee success with a new team? No, but I think if I had to guess which qb's success was based solely on the system they were in, I would go with Bulger at this point since he hasn't done anything in any other offense.

Re: Espn Reports
Warner had one of the best offenses of all time, and only a great qb like Warner could have taken it to that level. The team is moving on because its a short career in football and Bulger has more upside. Now better prepared, Martz will use his weapons more effectively. I think Warner would be a great fit for alot of teams, there's just too many teams committed. Wherever he goes will be a positive for that team.

Nothing interesting about your question TX ... it was just another weak attempt at protecting your false idol - sMartz.
If the players execute, it's the system;
If the players fail to excute, it's the players. This kind of logic ought to be taken out behind the tool shed and beaten like a rug.

We'll see adarian.....we'll see.
I'm one Rams fan that is comfortable with every offseason move. Even this one.

Re: Espn Reports
Who is the OC for the 'ants? What system/philosophy do they plan to use? what receivers are still there? Does KW have a chance with a crappy OL "protecting him" when he holds on to the ball too long (with the secondary game plan smartz called for him vs mb)?
