Just curious to see what everyone's favorite nfl moment in history is.

Dangerous topic for a Patriots fan to be raising, but...


The answer is easy - "The Tackle"

The Tackle is the probably the most favorite moment....but here's a few others.....not in any particular order:

1. Rams moving to STL
2. Being there live when Gary Anderson of the Chargers did a leaping flip over 2 Dolphin defenders to get into the end zone.
3. Getting Jackie Slater's autograph. That one is a real coup.

Thats cool, I might be a pats fan but I am a student of nfl history and I am able to keep an open mind after all. I can agree to disagree.

ONE of my favorite NFL moments:

December 9, 1967 / L.A. Coliseum -- The Roman General throws a 5 yard TD to Bernie Casey very late in the 4th qtr. to defeat the Packers 27-24 in a must game. Crowd went bonkers.

That play came as a result of another ONE of my favorite NFL moments: Rams LB Tony Guillory cuts through the Packer's punt formation deep in their territory to dramatically block Donny Anderson's kick which was recovered by the Rams on the GB five yd. line.

It was one of the Rams best ever seasons, losing only one game (they won their last eight in a row). That explains why the Coliseum was packed with approx. 80,000 wild fans in both their last two must-win matches.

Fast forward to the 1999 season. SB XXXIV: last play, last TACKLE, first WIN! :bow:

Easy question for Seahawk fans to answer also...Largent's revenge.

Mike oHarden of the Broncos intercepted a Dave Kreig pass intended for Largent, and started running the other way, Largent gave chase. They eventually collided and Largent simply exploded Harden, classic play...I don't care what team you're a fan of, this is a brutal hit by a WR that started when Harden laid a questionalble hit on him earlier in the year. Largent's Hit

Can't pin it down to just one.

I started following the Rams in '99. Most of that season would fit in here. "The Tackle" was the ultimate end to my first season as a Rams fan. I jumped up so fast I pulled a muscle in my back.

Fast Foward to 2004. Rams/Seahawks. Rams down by 17 late in the Fourth, all hope was lost. Looked like a long, long, long season. As I was reaching for a beer and the remote, I saw one of the greatest comebacks ever. I still have scars on my hand from where I jumped off the sofa, fist raised in joy, and hit the rough-textured cieling.

This year I am hoping for a string of 19 consecutive celebratory injuries.... :drunk:

Mom just reminded me that I also injured my hand when i broke the ceiling fan while Hasselbeck was pounding the ground in the playoff game last year.

I can just see it now:

"Sam, what is the reason for your visit to the Emergency Room today?"
"The Rams Won!" :<>

all that AV wrote was all on my list. But you know what monent I thought really stunk? :drunk: Was when one of the best RB'S in nfl history ,in his only SB, didn't even get to score a TD! But that fatass william the fridge Perry did! Ditka was probably the most classless coach of all time! What a f 'n bonehead! Walter Payton, You were the best! Next to Dickerson of course. :<>

Rawkhrdr, I followed the link you have in your post, acquired the Seahawks website, scrolled down to Greatest Moments in Seahawks History, clicked on the image, then clicked on the Title and then clicked on 'More...' but could not get any of those links to bring up the moments.

I'm interested in seeing that clip because HOF Steve Largent is a class act and a superb WR. That doesn't mean he could not hit and get even! Good for him.
