    Re: Favorite NFL moment

Sorry, disregard the previous post. I noticed one needs to select Media Player and Preference first (top of the page) in order to see the video.

Sure enough, the players role was reversed on that INT: Largent zeroes in perfectly and delivers a picture perfect whack of a hit! What a licking to Bronco No. 31!

    Alright Stevieee!

All the best Ram moments have been listed so I'll go with my favorite "non-Ram" NFL moment, which had to be watching the Faiders get their heads handed to them by Tampa Bay in SB 37. That whole game was just so fun to watch and gave me so much satisfaction. It's the one moment in time when Faider fans had absolutely NOTHING to say.

    Re: Favorite Nfl moment

When me and my family went to Buffalo last year. We lost the game and I remember my son telling me, as he put his hand on my shoulder, "Dad I am sorry we came to the game because we lost!" I said to him in the closing moments of the game, "Jay, it's not the game that I cared about, it was watching Marshall, Tory, Issac, Mark, Adam, and all the great players that are on the team" My son was 11 years old and he smiled at me and said "Hall of famers?!" That was a nice chat I had.

    The Tackle by Mike Jone.

And of course our Superbowl win!

    Re: Favorite NFL moment

    2002 NFC Championship at home.

    * Marshall Faulk and the Ram OL plow their way on a short run into the Eagles end zone. Faulk's helmet is yanked off by the Eagles' defense but the battering ram kept charging to score one of his two TDs.

    * Aeneas Williams intercepts Donovan McNabb's pass late in the 4th Qtr to shock and end the Eagles last drive. Captain Aeneas runs in celebration along with Ram defenders all the way to the Rams end zone.

    Re: Favorite NFL moment

    Please refresh my memory. hone:

    * Philly Eagles at St. Louis Rams. Grant Wistrom, with a strong pursuit, runs / hustles, chases and barely but effectively reaches Donovan McNabb's ankle to ruin an Eagles' 3rd down attack from near their end zone.

Did this great play also take place in the 2002 NFC Championship game?

I only remember it was a GREAT individual effort by 'The Engine'; that it was a big and important play. I want to say that play ended the Eagles chances in the 1st half?

Anyone have a clearer picture of this Wistrom-trips-McNabb play?

'Starting new job in two weeks' -- I hear you, Masspatsfan12.

Now, has anyone remembered the Grant Wistrom sack on Donovan McNabb as described (post #22)? I still want to say it DID happen during the 2002 NFC Title game.

Yes? No? :angryram: A figment of my imagination?

It was ONE of many, many of my favorite NFL/Rams moments but, sad to say, I cannot seem to pinpoint the occasion!

    Help.

I can say that I do remember that sack. McNabb rolled out to the left where Wistrom barely shoestringed him. I believe we're on the same page here.

    This was my first post.

    Re: Favorite NFL moment

Welcome to ClanRam, Carolina! You'll like it (despite the offseason).

Yes, it was a flush/semi-scramble to the left and McNabb was almost going to try making the 1st down on his own -- Wistrom says, "not on my watch!"

Good coverage by our secondary on Eagles receiver targets.

I'll settle for this taking place during our 2002 playoffs.

Yes, I think that is the game. I've got that on VHS somewhere, maybe a good reason to pop it in and do a little reviewing.

Here are some of my favorites (in no particular order):

-Ferragamo to Waddy TD pass in '79 Divisional playoffs against Dallas. Incredible!
-Growing up watching Walter Payton. He was the best (Sorry, ED!)
    -The Tackle
-The Catch(es) Both Dwight Clark and Ricky Proehl
-Hakim's TD while being escorted by Holt in 2000
    -Anytime Dickerson touched the ball
    -Warner to Bruce
    -Isaac's 4 TD's against the Niners in '99

    I've just got too many!

    Carolina

CR, speaking of Ricky Proehl, the times he would do his signature 1st & 10 signal!
