First 30 point spread in nfl history

if the patriots were 24 point favorites vs the eagles, how many points are they going to be favored over the dolphins? It has to be at least 30 points which is virtually impossible in an nfl game.

Meanwhile, if the dolphins won that game, it would be the biggest upset in the history of pro football. Dont hold your breathe.

After the oddsmakers saw what the Eagles did against the Pats and even what the Ravens did there is no way they set the spread at 30. I know Miami is bad, but the Pats haven't looked as impressive lately, It will be high, probably in the 20s but I can't see them setting it at 30. That wouldn't promote bets for both teams I don't think. At 30 you have to take the Dolphins who have lost 6 games by 3 points. They want people to bet on Miami and NE, 30 says to me everyone takes the Dolphins and 30 points if they are smart. We will see I guess.

Remember that Rams-Jets game a few years ago when we HAD to win and we'd get in the playoffs? I remember our guys going R-A-M-S RAMS! RAMS! RAMS!! before the game! Loved it!

I think the Pats will be a 30 pt+ favorite as long as they manage to beat the Jets by their 28 points, and as long as the Dolphins look like crap Sunday.

The radio a couple weeks ago said that the line makers wouldn't go north of 30, so the Pats will be 29.5 point favorite.

By the way, the opening line was NE 23 point favorites, now at 22 point favorites.
CBS's accuscore gives the Dolphins a 4% chance to win it. 3 out of the 6 experts picked... Miami?
You know it's just because if they Fins do pull it off, they will say they are "geniuses" and if the Pats win, they'll just ignore it.
